Pasaraya KU was established by Dato' Liew Chee Keong as the sole proprietor in 1998, supported by his beloved wife. The first branch of Pasaraya KU is located in Tanjung Rambutan, Perak. Started from a business as a sole proprietor and only had one store, Pasaraya KU Trading Sdn. Bhd. was established in 2002 to take over the sole proprietorship business to accommodate the expansion of Pasaraya KU. Pasaraya KU has expanded throughout Peninsular Malaysia in the next few years after its establishment.

The dedication towards this business's potential has helped Pasaraya KU take steps to open branches in other states as well (refer to branches location). Pasaraya KU branches are usually opened in remote and outback areas to bring quality and affordable goods to residents of those areas.

Pasaraya KU has set up a headquarters and warehouse in the Kawasan Industri Ringan Bercham, Perak. The colorful infrastructures clearly illustrate the meaning and mission of Pasaraya KU that is to colour the lives of customers.

Pasaraya KU is a chain store business that sells clothing and daily household items. On sale products include female, male, children and baby clothing, bags, shoes and toys. Pasaraya KU also sells daily household items such as towels, blanket, curtains, cushion cover and school equipment under very reasonable pricing. Product will be sent to the branches very week to bring the latest design to fulfill our customers' wishes.
